Calsurv provided measured surveys and full architectural design for the redevelopment of a historic factory site in a highly desirable part of Balham.
Calsurv were set the challenge of creating a contemporary set of additions to extend a traditional Victorian Villa. We met this challenge by creating modernist pavilion extensions to the existing villa, which have architectural merit in their own right, whilst not dominating the historic villa.
Our approach met the approval of the Local Authority who granted planning permission for fourteen flats and four large mews houses on the site.
“Our client has benefited from the large planning gain which has been realised on this site. This could only have been achieved through Calsurv's bold design approach along with their intricate knowledge of the planning application process.”
